The turbo feels like its on the way out. its very noisey and seems under powered. The manifold is also leaking :cry:

ah yes.. so you have the infamous stainless steel exhaust manifold.. best to just replace with the previous generation engine cast manifold, but they are incredibly hard to come by..

also you have the gt2260v turbo, should be garret part number 753392-**.. same as 330d, just different orientation/bolt holes on the inlet side..
dont have a spare of those unfortunately..

When i replaced my E39 530d turbo last year i had to get the number off the turbo that was on my car in order to get the correct turbo from Turbo Direct. Removed the boost pipe to get to the turbo and took pictures of my cellphone in order to see what the number was. Also replace the gasket which you can get from the BMW agents.
