remove E87 kidney grill?

Guys is there an easier way to remove the kidney grills?
Bimmerfest guide is abit tricky with those special tools

Any1 tried removing it already?

Its very easy.

Above the grilles there's about 4 black screws that mount the bumper to the black trimming where the bonnet locks into.

Unscrew those 4 screws, then gently pull the bumper away a little bit so that you can squeeze your hand down to the back of the grilles. While looking thru the grilles from the front, find the clips then unclip them. Push from behind.

Simple as that.

Be mindful that the screws are not normal philips screwheads. You will need a hex set, i think its a T-20 if I am not mistaken

yep, you jsut have to loosen the top 4 screws in order to get behind the grills. dude, you know where Jerry stays, i am on the same road, if you ever around, stop by and i can glady assist you if you have not come right already.:thumbs:

Thanks bro....I managed to remove it. Maybe you can help me open up the headlight with a heat gun? lol....:argh:
