Sup guys

so this morning i heard this funny voice in my head telling me to open the bonnet. Needless to say it was rather dirty - Disgusting actually.
So perfect excuse to try the new Trim dressing by Auto Finesse called Dressle
This a multipurpose dressing for where every you like Door cards engine bays etc etc etc ..

Engine was sprayed with Prepsol and power washed with the trusty Karcher
It was dried off using the Metro Vac Airforce blaster and dressed with AF Dressle

Before

After

looks good, but i get worried spraying water on a engine with modern day electronics

+1, but a diesel should have no issues. It's the petrol cars with individual coils that's a problem.

I used to wash my ST and S3 and had no issues
The idea is to use the karcher in quick bursts and not drench the engine with a hose pipe

Can't remember what it cost but wasn't cheap
Got double taxed

What a difference, I wash mine every few months with the pressure washer and so far never had problems. Love a clean looking engine bay.

I agree, I do the same. As little water as possible.

Have to say my Toyota Camry gathers less dust over time in the engine bay than my e60.
Looks awesome Nick.

Would this not void the motorplan? :fencelook:

Seriously - it looks awesome and like new. :bravo:

Well funny u should mention that. I once took my car in for a service and mentioned that some oil was all down the side of the filler cap. The service oke said I shouldn't be opening the bonnet and should leave that to the service department
Needless to say. I told him to get lost

So your comment could be true :)
