RENAULT SPORTS CLUB TRACK DAY :: RED STAR RACEWAY // 7&8 JUNE
This event will mark a first in South Africa, as the Renault Sports Club is the first car club in South Africa to book Red Star raceway for motor vehicle racing. As many enthusiasts are aware this track has been exclusively available to superbikes and biking enthusiasts in the past.
Red Star Raceway is a 4km long, has 13 turns and 5 straights. The track is proven to be amongst the best circuits in South Africa far out weighing some of the leading circuits in terms of technicality.
Circuit aside, Red Star Raceway goes beyond serving as primarily a fully-fledged racetrack, the venue has a full restaurant, conference facility, children’s play area, children’s cinema, ATM facilities as well as limited accommodation on the track. Red Star Raceway is a 5 Star Racing Circuit and this is evident as you drive through the front gates.
On successful registration you will receive a Red Star Raceway Track Pace, please ensure that you have read through the entire track pack and ensure that the allocated documents required on the day are completed correctly and accompany you on the day.
We as the organisors would like to highlight that absolutely zero exceptions will be considered in terms of condition of your vehicle. Please ensure that you complete the scruiteering form to the best of your ability.
The Renault Sports Club will be having a braai the evening prior to the event as a social event allowing participants to meet and enjoy a meal and a laugh together. Red Star Raceway does have limited accommodation available, please enquire directly with Red Star Raceway should you wish to make a reservation. The Renault Sports Club will provide the charcoal, please bring your own food and beverage.

Drivers and passengers are to wear long sleeves, long pants, tier 1 racing gloves and helmet. This is not negotiable, drivers arriving without these items will not be allowed to partake in the event.
