+1....some tyres especially performance tyres are set up for grip and handling ...but not for long-life

also how heavy is the right foot on the pedal ?....drive like a "Schumi or drive like a "Miss DAisy" ? :fencelook::sorry:

Yip allot depends on the tyre and its specific compound and intended use, high grip = greater wear, high mileage = Harder compound.

All depends on driving style. I get about 20 to 25 thousand kms from tires on my 318I. Used to get like 10 to 12 thousand on my e30. But it's due to me driving hard

That's some heavy driving!
Which brand of tyre are you using?

Who does your wheel alignment? If your camber setup is too aggressive, it'll cause increased wear on your tyre's

That's a crazy few kilos !
I get around 40k km with the 318 running on Pirelli
Perhaps you keep too low a pressure on your rear tyres.

On the 335 I've replaced tyres at 37k kms. car was purchased used so Im assuming that I put on the 3rd set of tyres. Though they could be the second set. not too sure.

it'd be interesting to know what mileage one gets from a tyre for the M

Too much wheel spinning, power sliding, fast cornering etc :)

Jeepers, that's damn heavy on a 318i.

I just did 10 000km since I fitted my tires, rotated them, and they still fresh as a crisp. And I don't drive Miss Daisy

Very difficult to drive like miss dazy in an M.

I drive the car hard all the time as i don't use it daily so when i get in it ,i really drive it....

That s why i just wanted to see what other okes are getting from their tires.
On last two sets of rears i got about +-10 000 km....
