HAH, mine aswell, but its like the bearings in the steering column have cone or something!?

also shes back in the garage as she was stalling every time you stop pushing the throttle, impossible to drive the guy reckons its the throttle bodies or something, a quick cheap fix or so he says...still love it!

You have no bearings on the steering column, its actually connected by a guibo or rubber flex disc, perhaps its the steering box, or they stuffed up when installing the new bushes. Could be a shock as well.

As for the stalling on pushing throttle, yea, throttle bodies sound likely.

Our 2000 320i did this too...

It visited BMW at least 7 times in the 4 years we had it... They couldnt fix it.

Cool Il look into it, the rattle has always been there but its better now the control arms are new, and as for the stalling it was a clogged up idle control valve, they took it apart cleaned it put a new gasket and seal in and reset the timing, plugged her into a diagnostics and every thing is sweet as, i think all the crappy dirt roads at that franchoek wine festival was to blame, some one else can drive next time!!
