I love gaming.. So I'm in for sure.

Too bad that I haved played online, else I would have definitely joined the LAN (yes I know what a LAN is but haven't played the games at the LAN and haven't pre registered)

Next time in in for the lan.

I enjoyed the first 2, since then the NAG LAN has kind of dwarfed the expo due to it's size. The hardware stores take up most of the floor as well, so you end up seeing little new stuff, just hardware and game demo's. I won't be going again, unless I need to buy new hardware. You just wait until the Sunday and buy the hardware they've used for display, big discount.

Last year was my first time, always wanted to go and really enjoyed it!

This sunday thing was unknown to me? Does it happen at the end of the day? Great heads up :ty:
I bought my current gaming mouse keyboard and headphone from last years one for real cheap. Like what has been said, if you need new hardware, know what you're looking for and you could find a bargain

Well it's not a "thing" really, you just need to judge it for yourself. All the stores start running out of stock and they have one or two things left up on the desks or windows and if you're lucky you can get a good bargain, especially if they start packing up. When I was playing at the LAN I'd wait until lunch-time Sunday and ground-pound for good deals. Bring cash.

Lets start by saying I played WOW from late 2004 to 2010 so for any game to fill the void it has to be really good.

GW2 is way more fluid than WoW, There is no walking up to the quest giver to pick up Q's.

Once you get into a area there are little hearts on the map, so as u get nearer to the heart a Q will pop up in the progress bar, You do the quest in the area and once its done you get the XP.
No need to go back to the NPC to return the quest.

AH (auction house) in GW2 works in a way that you can buy and sell on the AH no matter where in the world you happen to be.
To claim your shopping or profit you need to pop into the AH to pick it up.

Graphics are AMAZING and so are the phyiscs.

For a free MMORGP it wipes the floor with WoW.

The personal story you play thro is also very well put together.

Gear is also very well thought out.
You can buy gear with in game money, GEMS (credit card) or with REP you earn from doing Q's

Profs are very lekker to, every player can collect any raw mats EG: lumber, mining, picking of food stuffs no matter there Profs you have taken. which to be either used or sold on the AH.

WvW or world VS world is crazy, where in WoW you had PvP between factions, in GW2 you represent your server and you lay seige to another server.
So it literaly 1000's for peeps fighting at once, like i said CRAZY.

Pings are good to the EU i dont get DC'ed as much as i did in WoW.

I could go on lol.

Im just need to move first before getting it. My connection where im now is horrid, and sometimes i get a ping of 160... :nonono:

Sounds awesome.... I was never that into WoW BUT major ever quest fan, (until I met Henry). Was a first line healer but hey, I really enjoy my 3dr person RPG's now. I can switch off when I want and dont have this constant burn in my backside to login and play..... I was standing with GW in my hands the other day but realized that my connection will make me dread the game.

This week Im Death and who knows what Im next week!!!!

Petri soz love for hogging your thread here!

@ Petri I say do it. Even if it sucks balls, at least you've been there yourself and can say you've been to it at least once in your life.

I felt very excited walking in there. The anticipation was greater than the result but still worth it.
