Radiator fan

Hi,everyone.I just bought a new radiator fan for X3 3l.now the problem is the fan runs the sooner you start the car & doesn't stop till u switch engine off.Ho do I make it run automatically with the car temperature?thanx

As far as i know the fan is a programmable hardware, which requires coding. Lets hear from the experts.
