Hi guys,
I searched on the forum and was unable to find for the info that I am looking for. All that I could find was guys selling or Racechips for different models.

I am interested in getting a Racechip Pro / Ultimate for my E90 335i.

1) Is it worth it to pay R2K more and go with the Ultimate?
2) I am planning on replacing my exhaust. can I install the chip now and upgrade the exhaust later or do I install the chip after the exhaust upgrade?
3)Is there any known problems with Racechip on the 335i's?
4) What is the best product to go with if not Racechip?

Your feedback and knowledge will be highly appreciated.
TNX guys!

If I may ask why JB4 and not Racechip?
Does he JB4 give you performance and better fuel consumption than the Racechip?
Why a pre tuned plug and play chip and not something like the UniQ chip from Dustek?

In my eye, its about experience, knowledge and skill. JB4 has loads of cars that are running safely and impressively. Their R&D into the N54/N55 engine is probably alot more than Racechip.

Jb4 is a trial and tested product. Race chip is also a very reliable product. Then you get cobb as well.

The thing about jb4 it has a lot of extra things to make that much more special.
- Shift lights, hazards go on to indicate time to shift
- jb4 android app, all real time viewing of things such as boost, afrs, maps, IATs etc...
-On the fly map map switching
- ability to read and delete codes from phone, laptop and steering wheel
- ability to change setting such as boost limits in gears

And a whole lot more.

I haven't seen a race chip pro/ultimate in person so I can't comment on it.

Cobb is really easy to use if you not a diy type and really don't want to have the joy of playing around with your car. Makes very decent power, it is a premium product, and also allows logging of runs to gauge how the car is behaving and performing. Plugs directly into the cars obd port.

Contact rennzport via email and I'm sure revo will be able to help you out with further details and give you more insight as well hook you up with right product to shit your needs.
