R56 Cooper service advise

Hi Minifanatics.

Im new on the forum. Already introduced myself on the BMWfanatics thread.

I bought my wife a '10 Cooper 1.6 man.
80kkm on the odo FSH at Mini.

Got a couple of questions.

First being reliability. Is there anything that goes wrong on these N/A motors?

Where is the best places to service these cars. Tune-tech?

And what wheel/mag combo looks the best in your opinion?
The standard 16inchers look toss

Hi there...

Welcome and do post pix of the car:rollsmile:

The 1.6 N/A motors are reliable and service costs isnt that bad by the dealers.

The 17" flame spoke from the Cooper S looks good or any of the JCW wheels but Im not sure if they will be easy to find on the classifieds. Maybe check wheel shops sometimes people trade their wheels in for aftermarkets

Tunetech is a good from what I have heard  I think hotchocolate on the forum can vouch for them based on his experiences with his Mini

Found something for you,

This is a JCW wheel - its called JCW R113

http://www.gumtree.co.za/a-tyres-rims/benoni/17-mini-mags/1001161207120910005685909

And the standard tyre fitment size for the 17" wheels is 205/45/17 usually Pirelli RFT

Thanks bud.
