R53 Mini Build Thread

[Burgy]

The Mini arrived looking all sad and stock :rollsmile:

Mods completed:

Wrapped in red and gloss black
Full exhaust
Intake
Front mounted intercooler (custom made)
Stage 2 base file loaded
Replace Fuel Pump (she was broken)
15% reduction Pulley
Gloss black wheels


Mods still to be done:

Stage 2 revised file
Street Cam
440cc injectors
Lots of red silicone bits for the engine


After Wrapping:

Intercooler piping being made:

Pipes mounted, just need to be made pretty:

Looks Nice!

SAC did the FMIC piping in carbon. Might now be a odd idea to smooth those out and make a mould of them, them make it in carbon. It will offset the added weight of the system a bit.

And while you are there, fit bungs to the pipework to measure tempratures. This can be very usefull for when you fit a IC waterspray system that compares the air temps before and after the IC.
