Questions about my 335i

Hey guys, just wanted to check 1 or 2 things about my 335i sedan.

1) my car does not seem to make the same sound as the coupe's, is this normal, somehow the coupe's sound more sporty, is it because my car is made for a family man?

2) if i move the gear lever to manual mode and i use paddles to shift, if i leave my shifts too late with revs reaching around 5500 rpm, there is a terrible smell in the cabin, why is this. if i drive the car hard on auto i never smell this

3) bought myself a hard-drive for my music and plugged it into my usb port in the car, it does not work, is this only made for flash drives, is there a way of getting around this?

Otherwise a magnificent car.

Coupe has a different exhaust system. Something about resonators. Do the golf tee mod or remove the plug behind left tailight. As for the smell its not normal. Usb is made only for flash drive.. The usb port does not enough power for Hard drive. You can connect external power on the hard drive.

You can use the Iomega hard drives, but make sure it is the 4200rpm, as any drive faster than that requires more power. See if you can exchange you hard drive for a lower speed drive.
