Question to Forum Managment

Why are the rules and punishment for transgressing the rules not applied equally ?

So Singh was banned. I'm not questioning his banning. I am questioning why if Singh was banned, no clear action has been taken by those who instigated and continued to instigate that situation. One senior member tasked as an Admin went so far as to call members assholes with no apparent repercussion. The negative Rep Ninjas were in action also.

Others have been known to instigate previously and then too were let free. In December this occurred with the same instigators, there was no action against them yet I Received a warning from a mod on first stir about the situation.

Please do not remove this thread, when I was still admin, we decided on transparency. I would appreciate some sort of clarity.

Asshole is now accepted as any other word. It can be widely used and not regarded as offensive

We give you an undertaking that we are looking into this and will manage these issues going forward at a moderator and admin level (for all forums). I don't know all the concerns and quite frankly I am not going to read through pages of name calling and mud slinging.

I am closing this thread and ask you all to leave this particular matter for Arbee's and Prev's attention. I will assist them too.

Feel free to PM other things that we may have over looked.

I would like to start this post off with an Apology to every forum member in the BMWFanatics Community...

I am Sorry

The reason behind the apology is that recent events put me into a state of mind that I think allot of you might have shared with me, and it lead to me having an outburst on the forum, and posting a rant that was really harsh and unprofessional, and I hope that you guys can realise that behind my awesome personality and my Administrator status, I am still a human being that can lose my temper and my cool and suffer from a momentary lapse in concentration and judgement, and say or do something that is out of the norm and not acceptable.

I really hope that you all can forgive me in this matter, and know that I have been part of the forum for many years, and dedicated many hours of my life for the BMWFanatics, and I will remain here for as long as I can, and I will always do for the forum what I think is the best.

So all of you that know me well will know that I am a straight to the point kind of guy, and really a good guy, that will always try my best to Serve and Protect and to go the extra mile to help anyone, and here I will do my best to do the same.

SO thank you again for the older members that elected me as Moderator so long ago, and finally as Administrator. Please know and trust that I will carry on giving my all to the forum and its members, through the good and the bad times. :thumb:
