Greetings!
Steering wheel and pedals - go for the Logitech G25, or G27 - best of the best.

For the seat, you might battle finding one, otherwise make up your own. S///Mon and I made one from a chest of drawers, cut the legs off a garden chair and some pillows - pure racing pedigree :biglol:

Quick search on the interwebz, I came up with this http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/47505670/PS3_Racin_Pro.html

I'm a ps3 guy so it would be GT5 for me the last Forza I played on X-box was Forza 2 and I liked it. I do believe that 2/3 are good.

Most of the other racing games I played with the remote. Also look at F1 2010 or 2011. Looks good but haven't tried yet.

GT5 is very realistic, to be fast you have to be smooth, brake at the correct place etc especially at the Top Gear test track and the challenges.

For all out arcade style racing the NFS range is great.

I enjoyed Dirt2 as well, just got Dirt3, has a gymkhana part also ala Ken Block style.

check on the ps3za forums for more info, you may even find a used playseat and steering there.

I've got the GT5 steering with a playseat and it's awesum.

Would recommend it, unless you really, really, really need the manual shifter, which is the only thing it does not have.

Is it just me or am i the only one that dont like GT5, the car speed just seems to slow and unrealistic for me, i do however love Dirt2 and Shift. I tried the steering wheel on my pc and my driving actualy got worse, :roflol:

I'm actually the opposite - I really like GT5 and not Shift/2 - I find GT5 "very precise" in terms of control but I struggle with Shift :thumbdo:

+1 that's why I don't use the steering wheel for arcade style racing games.
GT5 I really like I'm forever chasing that perfect lap.
