PS3 gaming

Hi,

So ive just completed Gears of War 3. Truly a great Xbox 360 game. 8.5 / 10

But I am also playing through inFamous 2 on the PS3. also a great game. great addition to the franchise. I should be done with my good playthrough this week.

I also have Star Wars: Force Unleashed I, and Batman:Arkham Asylum.

I will play those and then go back to play the evil playthrough of inFamous 2.



inFamous 2 is a great game for those who love sandbox games. Good story line, excellent graphics, and really cool powers.

InFamous 2 is an excellent game. I enjoyed the first one and the sequel is more of the same but with some improvements. It does get a little repetitive though.

I also agree that infamous 2 can become a bit monotonous if you allow it to. alot of the side missions are similar.

but as a game, theres many hours of fun to be had.

You have a xbox360 and a ps3? too much consoles for 1 lifetime :=): I agree inFamous 2 is a awesome game, busy playing it now. So how did it come about to hav both consoles?

I know you weren't asking me but I also have an Xbox 360 and a PS3 and a Wii and 3DS, DS, GBA, PSP, PS2, Gamecube. I don't have time to enjoy them and most of my games pile up, unopened

I did alot of research on the net about which would be a better console and the results were that theyre equally good systems.

Having previously owned a PS2, I decided to try something different, so I bought the Egggs box and was having alot of fun.

Then heared that God Of War 3 was in production and would be released soon. So I bought the PS3 in advance and said that I would wait. Ive played many games before God Of War 3 was released including the HD Special editions of the previous God Of War games.

Xbox bought in April 2008, PS3 in October 2008.


I have been playing games on both consoles and can comfortably say that barring the Bluray thing that the PS3 has, that both systems are equally super. If I am asked advice about which system to buy, I first ask if the person already has a bluray player. If they do then I tell them that I cant choose, If not I advise them to buy the PS3, cos of the Bluray advantage.

Ok, lets analyze this. I could assume that your consoles are chipped and you hav a friend that continuously copies you games or it could be option 2 whereby it is not chipped and you just like the idea of having a game, due to it having a awesome trailer or good advertising and you just feel that you deserve it in your collection and you are becoming a game collector. Am i close?

Xmax, i must say that the kinect on the eggs box is truely a cool product, i till this day believe that its the best feature, even beating the motion controller of the ps3 on playability, but eventhough saying that, the graphics on the PS3 games using the motion controller seems to be beter, like Fight night and Sports Champions, but with dancing games the eggs box hav the upper hand again. So it depends on exactly what you looking for.

@Sandman. I agree bout the need determining the decision to purchase.

I personally dont like the kinekt. guess im kinda old school with regards to a controller. ive played on kinekt a few times and havent enjoyed it so i decided that its better off in the shops and im better off saving me some money on something that i wont use.

@metroid. maybe you should send some of those games this way.

I am about the same, spend a fortune on games and then never play them or only play them once or twice. I do how ever tend to play too much PC games, BF3 is insane. Love it.

Currenting playing a bit of GT5 on the PS3 and Forza 4 on the XBox, both really good games, but I think GT5 just beats it a tiny bit. Well except for the selection of cars, Forza 4's selection of cars is just epic, wish GT5 can pull their finger out their ass and give us some nice DLC's.
