Congratulations on an awesome find. The mileage is incredible.

3x tips.....

Be very careful with the seatbelt guides on the side of the seats. They break if you just look at them long enough, and the whole seat's leather needs to be removed to replace those silly plastic guides. Real pita. Once the guide breaks, the belt wedges itself between the crack, or it simply goes over your shoulder at a very awkward angle.

second - put a towel on the rear plastic window when lowering the roof. The roof fabric rubs against the window in the lowered position, scratching it if there is no towel.

Protect the dash from direct sun. The leather inserts will shrink, and separate from the dash plastic

You are right about those Belt guides. Saw quite a lot of threads on different forums around this.

Luckily the car will not be exposed to the sun for extended periods of time but will keep it in mind.

Not easy to find them in that condition, great car. If you haven't already joined the Zed forums overseas I would highly recommend you do, as there is a wealth of information to be had. If I had seen your thread earlier regarding you seat moving, I could have pointed you in the right direction in purchasing the bushes cheap, not a difficult job to replace.

Also, you'll need a strut bar. TRUST ME!!!

Z3's tramline like it's crazy on uneven roads, and drive it up to 120km/h and it feels a little unstable.

I'm going to order the rear one as well.

Makes a huge improvement. Trust me, you want to get this as soon as you can.

Also, find yourself a replacement gear knob, that plastic one WILL break, it's just a matter of time. I replaced mine with the one below, it also makes your changes feel shorter too.

I still regret selling my 2002 Z3 3.0i a few years back when I upgraded to the Z4 M Roadster. I should have kept her in the garage!
