Process to check an out of Plan car at BMW?

Hi

If a car has recently gone out of plan, can I take it to BMW to perform a full multipoint check to assess the car? I want a check similar to what they do (or should be doing) when they assess pre-owned cars for their approved used car floor. How much does this cost?

Also, is it possible to reinstate Motoroplan after such checks have been completed? Is there a penalty involved for the lapsed plan?

There is what they call a quality check that they carry out when having to change the motorplan to another person. I am sure this can be done even though the car is out of plan. Cost is around 2k.

Good to know. When I last checked they stated you can only extend motorplan while it’s still under motorplan. Glad there’s a grace period.

As for quality check i feel Dekra does a better job for the money spent unless you looking for tuning on the ECU.
