When I got my car a year ago I saw the the power-steering reservoir is always very wet. I googled and ask around and got that it is normal sweating. For a while I accepted it but got fed-up of clean. So some more googling. Found one post that report that there is a oring in the lid. I took off the lid and saw no oring, read the post again Turn out the old oring is is some squashed so flat its hard to see but there.
10/28/2011 I replace my oring and my reservoir is still bone dry till today.
Just putting it out there. Maybe other have same situation. Was R25 for oring at BMW
