Hi Guys,

Its been a while since I've been on the forum but due to my busy schedule I did not have time to visit the forum. Sorry guys.

I am currently looking at buying a X1 for my wife with 95K km on the clock. I am looking for some advice please. How are these X1 in general and is the maintenance affordable out of motorplan. What is the common problems....ect.

The car is in Gauteng at (Lyndhurst Auto) and I am in CT. If you have time and in the area could you please assist me by viewing it for me and give me your opinion?

If anyone could help it would be appreciated.

Thanx!!!

I recently bought my wife a X1, 20d.
I think its an awesome car, we got a M Sportpack soit had all the colour coding etc. The car is quite responsive for its size and the consumption brings a constant smile.

I have picked up an issue when its cold that could be related to gearbox, however I am booking it in next week to be checked.

In peak traffic I get 6.8l/100, highway driving it drops to around 5.8, I have seen it as low as 4.6 when nursing the car on the open road
