pot hole damage

I went through a pool of water on my way home from work and heard the tyre making a noise later .
One bent rim , and a shredded tyre due to riding to a safe place to fit the spare .



Rim straighten and spray R550 and a Velocity 205/60 R 15 tyre from TWT R663 .

I can only imagine how deep that pothole is to damage a 15inch rim with 205/60 tyre :nonono: I drove a 328i with 15 rims & tyres.... and they are strong :thumbs:

Repaired wheel looks great! Pity about the hassle and cost though! Not to mention the inconvenience! :nonono:

Wheel was done at Mag hospital in East London . Now it looks brand new and is R 350 per wheel to spray the other 4 !!
The rim is put in acid to remove the paint then sprayed , it is silver all over , the standard mag is cream/white on the inside .
