Posts disappeared

Hi guys

I've had posts disappear before usually with downtime or updates. There were 2 that I posted that I see gone... one I didn't even notice until ChisPy DMed me since he wanted to fill in the blanks between the PS4S and Cup 2. I didn't see it in my posts or threads and I hadn't deleted it myself. I half thought it might have been because I made a comment about people loving their crap tyres in it but never got a mod message or anything like that... it just disappeared. It would be great to just get the review content back if it can't be on here since I don't have that saved anywhere.

Second one was a multipost (which I reported as such) but I replied to one of them (none had posts at the time) with exactly what guys subsequently posted (FRM & boosting causing it). I don't know if this was deleted because it was short and all I said was exactly that - that it was the FRM and the root cause... Went to edit thinking that I should add potential charging system issue but it was gone... and by that time there were two more posts so pointless adding.

Not sure if it is an issue with what I've said or a forum system issue or an issue with my profile?

I've had the same issue, commented on the above mentioned threads which are now gone and one or two others.

Is there an upgrade that's happening? Or are the high powers at work in mysterious ways again

Thanks for alerting us. The only changes we did on Friday was rearranging the vendor subforums...about 50 of them. I suspect that may have created an unexpected issue.

Will ask the webmaster to look into it tomorrow.

I notice a thread I personally posted in also to be missing. Will be honest, there wasn't maintenance or even any changes from my side that would impact this.
Checked the moderation queue and also don't see the posts being deleted.

So there is a scenario I can imagine, and that is where our web provider rolled back the virtual machine image at some point.
That said, I still see the daily backups so there is a chance I can maybe get the content, if it is in one of those backups.

If you can provide me, either here or via PM, the posts titles and or section or even any content and dates, that would make it searchable for me in those older database backups I will take a look for you. They will have to be deployed to a temporary servers to allow me to search it.

And here I thought the mods were being mean to me for deleting my posts

The rep from ZF in Germiston posted a Fluid change special or something for transmissions and the post/thread has been ghosted like a beta male on Tinder.
