Hi. I need to service my E90 320d 2005 model. I need to know where to get the parts. What parts to get. What oild to buy. It has 140 000km on it. I have a guy that will service it cheap for me. I just need the parts. I also have a problem cause I tried calling around and apparently the diesel filter is not listed that can't be true. I live in lenz jhb south but prepared to drive out to buy the parts to a max abt 60km radius. Please reccomend where to go and what parts to get and a number if possible and what oil pls. I leave for kzn on saturday and need to change oil before I go as its over due already

I would recommend you make use of Liqui Moly Top Tec 4100 5W40.

The diesel spec is usually next to the API spec. So for petrol cars the latest API spec is SM, for diesel it is CF.

Your car requires an API rated oil with a CF spec. This is vital!

Furthermore, your vehicle has 30 000km drain intervals which means you need a LL04 BMW approval on your oil. LL04 means a 2004 Longlife Approval.

So you need a CF specced oil, with a LL04 BMW Approval.
It also only costs R380.00 for 5Lt and your car needs 5.5L

Thanks. Any idea where I can get the oil.
You mention that my car has a 30 000km drain does that mean I only have to change the oil every 30 000km. Will the oil filter. Diesel filter and air filter also only need changing at 30 000km. Or does that last longer or shorter.

Thanks. :ty:

I sell liquimoly :) free shipping on 10l but its going to be a push to get it to you before saturday :(

just change the oil when the car tells you to...

the filters are normally not badly priced at the dealer

I got a guy who is charging me R250 labour. His highly recommed as well. I saw the service book now and it seems air filter and diesel has never been changed. I'm trying to save money to spend more in kzn on holiday. I also seen motolek in lenz sells the liqui molly will go try tomorrow. How bad will it be if I just change oil and oil filter and change the air filter and diesel filter end of march. Fuel consumption is still good and car drives fine currently.

Hi. How much is it for the 10l. I will make a plan for this service to get it. You don't sell other service parts as well.

Oil and oil filter is not expensive at the dealer. The airfilter costs between R500-R600 if i remember correctly, and i hear it is a pain to change out, that is why dealers dont do it regularly.
