i received a letter from my financing institution yesterday saying the interest rate has been dropped.

what caught my eye was the remaining installments, which was 29.

to my knowledge it should be 25 left.

phoned them, and eventually admitted that i was correct and they wrong.

Well spotted...maybe name the financial institution in case this mistake was a general one and was not corrected for others who may also be using them.
