We hereby invite you to the 2016 Petrolheads for Pets!

Petrolheads for Pets is an exciting track day that is now in its 3rd year.
This event is aimed squarely at the motoring & bike enthusiast; however it has a softer side too...
All proceeds are in aid of Pro Life Pet Rescue in Nelspruit which is a registered non-profit organisation that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes cats and dogs that are starving, abandoned or abused.

This year's event will be on Saturday 25 June 2016, and will once again be held at Red Star Raceway (http://www.redstarraceway.co.za/) near Delmas in Mpumalanga. Red Star is an amazing track with excellent facilities including a pro-shop, food & drinks for sale, braai areas, grand stand, kids play areas, accommodation and even a swimming pool.

The past two events have been very successful and were thoroughly enjoyed by all participants.
In 2015 we managed to raise just over R22 000 for Pro Life Pet Rescue!

Check out this link for photo's from last years event:

How will cars and bikes at one event work?

Cars will have their sessions and then the bikes will have theirs, cars most probably three groups split into 15 minute sessions each followed by a 15 minute session for the bikes. They won't be on the track at the same time, this is what I'm assuming and I'm sure it'll be pretty much as above.

So usually there are 3 car groups. Will there now be 2 car groups and 1 bike group?

There will still be 3 car groups... Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.
One bike session will slot in between the car sessions -That is, if we actually receive any bike entries... :=):

I have been meaning to check out red star raceway for several years now so this is a perfect opportunity to do so and at the same time a worthy cause.
I think I will join and bring my e36 along for some fun.

Could be good having a E36/E46 specialist at hand, you know, just in case.
