personalised plates

So how does one go about getting personalised plates. I see alot on the forum... I posted in WC as I assume its province specific.

well i got my first personal plates done by a ford dealer when i bought a fiesta,and then transferred it to three other cars after that.

then on the bmw asked them to do it but with a new name,it cost abit more than doing it myself.

also did the wifes through toyota.

check with the guys that renew licence every year,see the place down the road from me do it

My dad got a pair. Theres also a website wher you can che k availability and download aplication forms. Max posted it some time ago. Its on the gov site some where.

here in Pretoria you can have them made up in Marabastad for R1500 then just transfer them to your name, Stevenlio did it that way.

I am in the process of applying for my 2002.

Download the SLN1 http://www.westerncape.gov.za/eng/directories/services/11598/15243

The plate will cost R 1 900,00 for 4 to 7 digits. This includes 2 plates.

There is a fax number you can send it to.

You can also phone them to check availability of numbers.
