Pedal travel sensor

Hi guys and girls. Have any of you ever heard of a Brake Pedal Travel sensor? I drive a 95 E36 325i and my abs light is constantly on. I read about this on bimmerforums and figured I'd check it out. Did the SA spec cars have these?

Yep they do, but get a diagnostic done as there are many other sensors :thumbs: it can become very expensive trying to replace all

Where in the engine bay does it sit? I assume it should be close to the brake booster. But I don't see it
