Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share this with you quickly.

After not being happy about the fact that i couldnt get my bleed procedure to behave as everyone was explaining it should ( thanks to all the fanatics that replied ) I decided to get profressional help.
Rather pay a hour or two's labour than hurt my motor!

Ended up settling a few johnny blacks with my best mate one night ( he is also a beemer owner ) when his dad pops round for a visit ( also a beemer owner )
and we get chatting. My mates old man tell sme about a guy called Hennie who owns Belgic Auto. I decided that if the old man raved about him like that then he had to be worth a look.

Gave hima call and he was more than willing to listen to my story and we agreed to get the car to him for a look see.

Got the car there and he immediately pulled her onto an incline and his right hand man started the bleed procedure while he plugged my baby in to a code reader. ( only came out with 2 faults - minor - heater vent valve stuck open and something else )

He battled for about 45 minutes with bleeding and faffing with her, checking water temp through reader.
Eventually said to me that he is worried about the strength of flow of water pump at idle. but all seems OK.
I should drive her and bring her back next day and he will look at her again.

I did as he said ( temp gauge never budged from 12o clock )
went back next day and he asked me about temp. Tol dhim all was well.
He said then you are sorted, just needed a good old bleed.
He also said that he researched a bit and checked 2 other e46's in his workshop, the flow on the water pump is weak untill you bring up the revs, then she pumps!
So... no new water pump.

Asked him what i owe him for his time and code reading and he said thats its cool, glad he could help.

I am chuffed to have met Hennie and will from now onmake sure i use no one else but him for both th e36 and e46 work that i cant handle.

He knows his sh*t and is a hell of a nice oke as well... actually everyone i met there the last 2 days was friendly and cool.

Anyone in PE need a mechanic specialising in BMW... Belgic Auto - 38 Desmond street, Korsten ( on the left )

Cheers guys

Pretty sure bud,

Go down Kempston rd ( away from Mercantile ) and turn left at Steel Pipes & Fittings robots... keep going till road forks ( take left side of fork ) and keep eye open on left for Belgic. Area aint the best but the service was great

Welcome BMW driver!
Nice to have another PE guy here! And good luck with your search, try Belgic or Walmer Motors... (in Walmer :mmm:) they MIGHT be able to point you in the right direction
