Is it possible to adjust the PDC beeping sound to make it a bit louder? Car in question is a 2006 E90 320d. Thanks.

Yebo. You set it in your radio, For the life of me I can't remember the exact menu sequence. I'll check later tonight and confirm

Just check in your radio, I know it's there on later models, I'm sure it would be in earlier models as well.

I highly doubt it can be done on the E39 unless you've got the oem satnav

^^^ now you made me go check...

looking in google; according to 5series forum

"To adjust the volume, put the car in reverse near a wall/object so that PDC is operating and beeping. While the PDC is beeping, use the volume control knob for the radio to adjust the beeps to the desired volume."

Are you sure you went back far enough? You should reverse until you feel a slight bump, then adjust volume
