PDC not working

When I put it in reverse, it makes a long beep (about 5 seconds or so). That's it. No activity from the sensors. Any idea what it may be? Any help appreciated

Long Beep is normally a sign that one of the sensors isn't working

it will tell you which sensor is screwing you around,

Check the wiring, or replace that sensor..

Where can I get diagnostics done? Cost?

Does it not do anything if you have someone walk around close behind the car when PDC is activated? One or more of the sensors could have failed, so easiest way to find out which one is to have someone walk towards each sensor to see if it does or does not pick up on this.

Diagnostics should help if this is not simply the problem.

None of them picks up if there's someone.. Guess I'll have to do diagnostics. Any place specific I should go to? And how much it'll be. Thanks!

Unplug one at a time and see which one is screwing around.

Like what it's doing as posted above? If so then maybe one of them is not making proper contact or is unplugged somehow?? Worth taking a look.

lz and i diagnosed my pdc when i first got the car,

i explained that the car beeps long and he said its faulty but wen we plugged in the laptop all sensors were infact working but it still wouldnt clear,i still have not fixed my pdc,but it does work in the rain,atleast i know which one it is when i eventually get frustrated
