just to find what would a vaccum pump, gasket,engine breatherr pipe normally costs. BMW is replacing all that on mine under motorplan just wanted to find out the cost out of MP. how long does these lasts cause gasket was changed at 70,000KM and its now 88,000 KM.
i have a 2007 320i

just had the vaccum pump, tappet cover gasket replaced on my moms 2004 318i under motorplan.. came to R6500 total.. think they did a few other things as well. the pump was about R3500

how durable are these...is it common to that ones needs to change it after 18 KM......BMW told me that when they changed the gasket last time they didnt change the engine breather pipe or something like that that could be the reason for the leak. dont know wearther its true or not
