Ordering an F30

Hi Guys,

Im in the process of placing an order for a new F30 320i and i need your professional advice on optional extra's :rollsmile:

Thus far i have spec'd the following

M Sports pack :thumbs:
Sunroof
Rear PDC

Colour: Estoril Blue Metallic
Leather: Leather Dakota Veneto Beige

Anything that im missing that i will regret later :bangdesk:

perhaps get the upgraded iDrive System.

I dunno if you can choose non RFT's.. If you can, do that and get a spare wheel like they used do in the e46's...

Cannot stress that enough!!!!!!!!

Definitely the optional 18's that come with the M Sports pack.
going for manual or auto? 8 speed sports auto is damn nice.
Extended functionality on the instrument cluster?
head-up display? expensive but is very cool.


There's so many things you can spec. Depends on how much you want to spend

Drop heads up display and go for comfort access, extended lights package and extended instrument cluster. And if you can, go for M Sport Brakes Package, its beautiful and practical

Don't know about the F30, but standard sound systems in BMW's really suck.

LOL - thanks for the advice, but I already have the car with 30 000 kms put on :thumbs:

Pity I didn't go for the Sports Brake Package though, it does look nice

Space saver from agents with jack etc going to set you back R6000

perhaps get the upgraded iDrive System.

I dunno if you can choose non RFT's.. If you can, do that and get a spare wheel like they used do in the e46's...

And you can get them second hand. I got mine R2000 never been used.

Lol is yours the same as the X5 otherwise you are in trouble from what I hear the computer could put the car in limp mode if it is the wrong spacesaver. PS: that is what I was told
