Opinions needed

As some of you may know, the Mini's glass roof does not offer much protection against the sun, even with the shade pulled out. Was thinking of tinting it, then had another idea :thinker: why not put a black sticker over the glass with some creative stuff on it ....

Anyway, here's what I'm thinking of doing (sorry for the poor photoshop). Putting a sticker over the sunroof area only, but with the same text (i.e 1:1 Actual Size ). BTW, I have a red Mini with black roof.

What do you guys think?

lol, I dunno if your up for this kinda stuff, but if I was doing it, I would maybe add a Tamiya sticker and a larger version of the antenna in the thin plastic tube, like you get on an RC car.. lol, that would look eleet...

Will do it. Just need to get the font/sizing complete and then will have the sticker made up.

sweet idea. in the states the guys do it often. they normally stick with flags. ur "scale" idea is fantastic.

only one question, why does ur shade not offer much protection ? i have a sunroof and dont really have a problem with sun.

All my other BMs with glass sunroof had a proper "solid" inner cover (whatever it's called). With the Mini, it has the fabric mesh and hence lets in quite a bit of light and heat, which I don't like.
