OK SO I WAS IN AN M5 TODAY

All other cars now feel worthless. Great.

Dropped my car off at my local dealer today, and was driven home in a brand new M5 (One of the guys company cars). Perhaps a ploy to make me buy another BMW... its working..

Hands down the most insane car I've ever been in. The looks, the interior, the sound... but most of all.. that power. I was thrown back in my seat by the speed as we floored it down the highway. It felt like I was in a jet. Well done BMW :bravo: I take back every bad thought I've had about the new designs coming out.

Like they say,

Freude Am Fahren

To think there are people that experience that every day or every other day of their lives who own those beasts.

Sounds awesome. Had the opportunity to use a family members F10 M5 a few times. New Michelin tyres and it battles for traction in a straight line (even when you'd think you're up to a good speed and can floor it...nope... spins :smilebounce: )

The cluster (speedo) always tricks you into thinking that you're at cruising speeds (even when you're not). 150kmh is positioned so 'calmly' where you'd probably see 100kmh on a 'normal' cars speedo...

I had a brief 5 minute rollercoaster ride in a stock F10 M5 and i'm just stunned .... such brute power my goodness! OP you're right, everything feels worthless after that. I do think though that if I was in a fortunate position to by an ///M I'd probably get an M4 (or M3 if I needed more doors) though I've not ridden in one, I just think it will offer the more sharpness and handling thrills. As a mile-muncher that can cut off your head you want that, the M5 seems peerless though. Pretty sure F90 takes that to even higher levels.
