Oil temp: What does your gauge indicate

Hey guys. I don't want to start yet another debate about oil. Would just like to find out more info from other M/// drivers.
So I will start:

I run TWS because its a good "all round oil". The oil temp is constant at 90 degrees. I do stretch the gears once in a while and oil temp does go up to 100 but returns back down to 90. I did do the fan clutch delete but put my fan back in. With no viscous fan I was running a hotter oil temp- 100.

So what oil do you run? And what temps do you get?

The e46 doesn’t have increments, but it is sitting on the "1" of the 100 mark at constant highway speeds which should be something like 85 and has gone over to the last "0" of 100 on the track which I judge to be 110.
It is very dependent on the ambient temperature. In winter it sits just over the 75 mark on the highway.

That is with TWS

Well when i used 15W40 it stayed mid no matter how hard i drove...
Used 5W40 it increased when driven harder..dropped to normal very quickly when driven normal again.
