Oil change or not?

Hi guys

I did an oil change on the ///M6 using Mobil 1 around March/April last year. I've done around 4000 km since then.

You reckon I do an oil change or wait til I've done 10 000 km. :skit:

Sorry, wasn't too clear. Was planning the oil change around March/April.

you could probably never do it too soon but ho much km do you cover in a year..give it another 1000 or 2000?

I reckon I'll do so... Just checked Mobil's website, they say once a year or about 15000km. I'll just do the once a year thing.

5000, 6000 km oil service would be fantastic so.

Do the change once it has been 12 months since the previous change or the number of km stipulated...whichever comes first

Agreed on having it done every 12 months. You might not put major mileage on it, but in all fairness the little mileage you do is hard mileage :=):

If major of that KM have been done in town or short distances I would ho ahead and change the oil. It might have diluted with petrol by now due to cold starts and short drives.

Rather do an oil change and not need it, than need it and not do it.
