not a BMW...but this is my "Cow"

Haven't ridden her in many years, work schedules previously precluded its use, so she stood in the garage, started her up once every 3-4 months just keep the turning-bits-and-pieces lubricated

today for the first time I actually took her out on the road and went to work

brings back memories of when I was still an "Appy" at Atlas Aircraft in the early 80's

Very very nice Romeo, nice of you keeping it even if not using it!
Awesome bike!

I grew up with Honda 550 four Supersport, a Jamaha XS1.1 G and now this 1982 Honda Goldwing GL1100, I have always liked the "old-school" bikes, and really like the shaft drive.....my ultimate bike would be a BMW...but one of the older versions...1980 model R80 or R100...that would be my final bike purchase

The Goldwing is an awesome machine!
My old man had the Yamaha XJ 1.1 special.
Yes, the older BMW's are classics, love them!!!

I would like to own a "cow" like that one day, just have to get off my fear of two-wheelers and my face being a crumple zone.
