i'm still running on my d90 Kit... I've just managed to check that I've done 8500 actuations in 2 years.... and I've still got enough of time to go... 7100 should be flippin awesome from the reviews I've read...

I also use a D90. I don't think I've been limited by it yet. I've been spending a bit of money on accessories though.

It's like a totally different camera compared to my d3100 so there's gonna be a bit of a learning curve to get used to it. Rapid fire mode sounds like a machine gun:rollsmile: always loved the sound of the nikon shutters:smile:

I must agree with the sound of a shutter! I used a friend of mines 550D and it just doesnt sound right compared to my Nikon

One problem I have though is the raw files are huge. Around 25-30mb each so a 16gb card can only store around 300 shots. Will have to look into buying more cards:yuck:

So I played around with it over the weekend and I'm really enjoying this camera:rollsmile: One thing that I find a bit annoying, and I see a lot of people have mentioned the same thing, is the location of the ISO button makes it really awkward to change ISO settings. I tried to assign the FN button to do that, but it doesn't seem to allow me to change it. Anyone with this camera managed to find a way to reassign one of the front buttons to change ISO?
