Hi, I am new to BMW and on a very strict budget of about R150k. I saw a X5 3.0d 2006 with 260k on the odo, FSH for R115k.
I regularly drive Honda and Mercedes as well as Polo (horrid thing) and recently had trouble going up a steep paved hill road with a FWD car. Ladies had to get out and walk.
What are the risks here, the car looks neat and well-maintained, FSH as stated, yet this is an unknown quantity to me. About 80% left on tyres, towbar, wear inside is negligible.
