My ownership until recently has actually been fairly trouble free. To date I have only experienced the following problems:

Engine once went in to limp mode for some unknown reason throwing a bunch of fault codes, which by the next day had disappeared and no further problems. My OBD2 scanner had said the problem came from the TPS, I was going to replace it, but 2 years down the line, it's never happened again,;

Then one cold night I left an aiport in a hurry and got a TPMS warning, which again turned out to be nothing.

I then got a low oil warning once which I then topped up and was fine.

And only now recently did something go completely wrong - which is in the the thread I posted about my FRM. I may still be lucky and only need to reset some codes, I may however be unlucky. Time will tell as soon as I find the time to sort it out.

That being said, the car only has 130k kms on the clock so still in its infancy in terms of mileage I guess.

My main complaints is that the engine gets so hot (have taken it from EL to JHB and back without issues), the power sucks since the car is so damn heavy and similarly, my fuel consumption sucks as well sitting between 10-13 l/100km. Really makes me wish I had saved up more and gotten anyone of the 6 cylinder BMWs instead.
