Hello everyone
My name's Warren. I'm new to this site, having joined a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I didn't introduce myself then and just continued to use the site-hope you won't punish me for being so bad:hammerhead:
Anyway I look forward to learning and sharing experiences with you all

OP i wanted to add...

Relax...if you want to enjoy this forum. You have very few posts but your behaviour on your few posts could lead to you being booted off sooner than you think.

Read through the various forum threads. Get to know the forumites. Dont be so hasty to push your ideas down our throats...read & learn.

Thanks for the advice Twinz
I've lived in SA and the UK for the past 20 years and have been a member of UK BMW forums for all that time. This is the first SA forum I've joined. I'm used to candid discussions with users on UK forums and nobody's ever been offended by me there. They're full of humour and people are very open minded. I've found people on this forum quite informed and engage constructively, and some good humour here too. It's a great forum, I like it.
However, I'm not a novice to cars, or BMW, so I'm not going to pretend I am. I don't know everything, but I know a lot that I've learnt from other people, from working on cars, and have acknowledged learning from others on this forum too, and I've said several times on here that I'm here to learn. If you expect me to not share what I already know because I'm new here, or you see it as forcing it down your throat that would defeat the point of healthy discussion and debate. My experience so far has been positive engagement with everyone. Learning does not mean agreeing with everyone or not expressing dissent or pointing out something illegal.
