Hi guys, I'm new to the forum but not so new to BMW.
My love for BMW's (the E36's in particular) started when I was about 9 years old when my dad bought an E34 535i. I just loved the comfort and the ride of that car. After that he owned an E36 318is, E36 323i and an E46 320d Sportpack. And thus the addiction to BMW kicked in in full force.
When I started working after school I didn't want to hear anything about buying a 'perfect student's car' or 'something economical', I wanted a BMW. So long story short, I got my first BMW, a 1997 323i manual in Alpine white. I still think that those are some of the most underrated BMW's ever. Eventually I traded it for a late 1995 328i manual which I still have. Even with very high mileage this car still impresses me very much!
The car has some minor work to be done and on my to do list is:
- wheel change (very urgent!!)
- semi clear tail lights and side indicators
- new fog lights as my lenses are cracked
- new suspension bushes all round
- new propshaft coupling
- short shifter
- free flow exhaust although it sounds pretty awesome as is (the car has branches)
- M3 steering wheel (or any other nice steering that will fit??)
- Maybe a M-Sport kit?
I look forward to learning a lot from you guys and hope to join some events soon.
Thanks for reading and sorry for the long intro :sorry:
Cheers guys!
