Hey There,

I am specificaly joining to look for & share ideas about kitting out a black 2003 745i that I bought as a weekend car. This car has very low mileage and I would like to kit it out with massive sound, exhaust mods, large rims, dark windows, dark lenses, aftermarket badge detail etc....and anything else to set it apart from the rest.



Any ideas, suggestions and support will be much appreciated.

With a 4.4 litre V8, I think an entire exhaust system should be on your list. Everything from headers to pipes to muffler and tips of-course. If your budget permits, an RGM techniflow system seems to be a great upgrade. For convenience sake, you could just have the Stage 1 upgrade done. AFAIK, it includes air filter, chip and exhaust. It's definitely not cheap, but as they say, you get what you pay for, and being a 7 series, it deserves only the best.

Regarding sound, perhaps a Bavsound complete upgrade?

Thanks very much for your reply and advice;

I immediately contacted RGM and Rob quickly came back to me with a reply. He quoted on (amongst other options) a SS Techniflow system plus remapping of the electroninc system that should take my output from 245kw up to 280kw. It is a little on the expensive side but by far the best I have been able to find thus far, and will absolutely have it done as soon as I am $$$ ready. (Around 42k - but it is fully guaranteed)
