Judging by the M5 move (V10 > V8 turbos), it's kinda predictable that it will a six with at least 2 turbos on it.

2 turbos, 3 turbos. Doesn't matter. What can clearly be heard from the video and assumed if BMW can't design an enhanced sound exhaust system, it will never have that distinct rasspy straight six of the e46 or the howling brute V8 of the e9x.

That, I'm afraid is the reality of turbos.

Buuut. Did you read about the electric turbo technology that BMW has patented in that thread.. Sounds like it could really help with the issues like throttle response and power delivery.
