Looks pretty awesome, but can't you get most of the stuff it has extra on the 3series at the moment by just buying the performance parts?

Yeah you can, but at least now you pay for the performance item and don't get stuck with the original parts.

That is probably the advantage, but is still dependent on the price, it can't be too much more that just buying a 3 and the performance parts as discrete parts.

It is strange that it is available on the 320's and the 335 but not on the 330's I would think it would be best on the 330's and the 335, but just my opinion.

Yeah... chances are it'll be marginally cheaper than fitting the parts after market. :hammerhead: That is weird bout the 320's.

Like what? I can only think of the mirror covers, the rest are just bold/glue on to an exisiting M Sport Model.

The Dyamic Edition is to celebrate the launch of the new 320d and 335i engines. The 320i was added because it is currently BMW SA's best seller.

I guess it's also to boost sales of an out going model...

The model is further differentiated from other versions of the BMW 3 Series with special floor mats with Royal Blue piping and “Edition” door entry sill strips.

Furthermore, the BMW 3 Series Sedan Dynamic Edition is only available in Alpine White, Blue Water Metallic and Space Grey Metallic exterior paint colours and will be limited to just 300 units.

Agreed

I can't help but laugh at all the OE BMW "special editions" ESPECIALLY that new M3 GT edition.. it's basically BMW's way or arse raping buyers with more money than sense .... why do I say this? cause one of my favorite "games" is searching for aftermarket parts to make up a copy "special edition" each time BMW announces one.

Without fail, the BMW "special editions" seem to be a response to the most common changes that modders are making in the wild, meaning that all the parts to make up a special eddition are normally already available on the open market for MUCHO less than BMW is charging. In fact for the cost of a "special" Bimmer, you are better off getting a base model and modding it after market.. you'll get the same look and better performance gains for much less.

The moment that I saw that this was only available on two models of which one is the 320 I knew this was just some money making trick. Now I might get really flamed for this opinion, but I think you shouldn't be able to get things like sports or M sports packs on 320i's or 323's or 325's for that matter, you should get this on the top of the range ones as this makes sense as the 335i of maybe the 330 need some inprovement of the dynamic capabilities over the other models, but a 320 I don't think so. I have seen too many 320 and 323's with M badges on the back, are they M cars, no they're not so don't put a M badge on it.

A friend of mine has the same view, I disagree though. I understand what you're saying. But if you can't afford the range toppers, and want something a little more special it's the way to go. For me it's more about enhancing what you could get, rather than approaching the limits. (When money is limited)
