:fencelook: Hi guys, I have just joined the forum although I have an X3 for the last 5 yrs. I am in the process of buying a 3L auto but it does not have the full sport pack, only front and back bumpers. My question is wether I can replace the side panels (below the doors) with the sports ones? The other thing I want to change is the steering wheel to the 3 spoke sports type. Is this a matter of just removing one and bolting the other in place or are there changes that need to be made? Anyone know were I can get hold of these items? (steering wheel and side panels)

Hi guys, my new (second hand) 2007 X3 3D auto changes erratically when accelerating. Between 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd the revs run to about 2500rpm and then changes but at other times it changes at around 2000rpm.
Anyone have any suggestions to remedy the problem as it is not smooth at all times as it should be.
The problem seems to be worst when cold. It is specially irratating when driving slowly such as in traffic.

My 2006 x3 3.0d has a vibration at 100kph. Feels as though it could be a drive shaft? I had the balancing etc. checked out and all seems ok. From looking around on the net it points me to the "u bolts" on the drive shaft. Anyone have a similar problem and what was the remedy?
