New E46 key

So, I bought a spare key from some dudes in Southdale some time back, it started giving me grief a while back, so I found a new guy in Kensington, that does them too, and at much better prices, I paid R500,00 for a new key, the guts of my original BMW problem key got transferred, a new rechargeable battery included, the PC board was repaired, some chip was a bit loose, the other key I got in Steeldale was sorted, a new non-chargeable battery fitted, this key cannot support a chargeable battery, then the actual key part, the part that slides into a key hole, is now modified as a spare just in case I lock my keys in my boot again.( I must just find a secure place to stash it)
I also found out that my electric seat can be programmed with a specific key, so say my wife has that key and the seat gets set for her, if she opens the door with her key, the driver seat automatically adjusts for her, mirrors as well, pretty cool......
The guys in Kensington, speak to Murphy on 074 148 4921
They do all sorts of keys, not just BMW...

Is this an advertisement for this place in Kensington that does E46 keys  Maybe change the description to want to thank and the place name, instead of new E46 key.

Plus admin is gonna be all over you

Why?

it's not spam.

Not my rules, but just check and be ready if they ask. Do these people also do the E90 keys?

Will correct if required, apologies if I broke the rules. Not spam or an advertisement at all, just a handy tip for anyone wanting a new key.
Not sure if they do E90 keys, what does it look like? Is it a type of dongle? If so, they know someone who does them I think
Admin is free to change the heading to whatever is suitable, no problem.
I thought to put this thread here because they do almost any series key, not just E46 or 3 series.

Thanks Kurt for the heads up. I went through and got 2 keys sorted. They managed to fix one of the keys that wasn't working and then put the internals into a new case. On the second key they couldn't fix the lock button that was broken so they moved the transponder onto a new board.

2 hours of work, they charged me R550 per key. Well with the money.
