New car

Hi all,

Today will be my last day of owning what I truly believe is one of the best built and still good looking BMW's on the road today, and testament to that is the sheer number of them still driving around daily - the e46....

My Velvet Blue Metallic (royal blue/purple - individual order) 330i individual with cream nappa, sat nav and harmon kardon and 270000km's is departing to make way for an e60 530d msport (of which I have had before). I am a big lover of the 5 series and having had e39's (528i, 530i and M5) and of course the e 60 530d I am being spoilt by my other half and collect it later today. I as all would like I imagine, would of liked to have kept the 330i as they are really great cars to drive and own but time has come to say good bye faithful and hopefully it goes to a good home

I will post pics of the replacement as soon as possible (so don't - this thread is useless without pic's me .... :=): )

I have some ideas of what I would like to do cosmetically and here and there - Sash's car is a fine example and its along those lines.

Was going to put up here but the misses arranged to trade it. There was some maintenance work to attend to with the 330i and had already tallied up parts costs which came to just short of R14.5k. It was mainly a timing thing and was not really wanting to wait and lose out on the 530d which was a good deal - so bit the bullet a little and traded the car. It has been up on the forum before for sale (quite a while ago I must admit, and there was some interest but nothing came of that round)

Having serious issues trying to upload pics... no idea why.... keeps saying image file missing but they are visible on mail, upload fine to pictures or photobucket?????
