Do you have another, family car ......

if this would be your car, that occasionally transports the family, then I would go with the 640D, purely cos its different.

Personally I think it weird that BMW called the car a 640D when in fact the engine is the exact same as the 535D and the 335D (both of which are not 3.5 litre either)....

The //M5 is R1.1 Million.. with a lot of extras as standard..

Depends how you specifying 550i, but M5 would make more sense then..

The emotional aspect will maybe lean towards the sexy coupe .
Purely on paper the 550i is not humbled by the 640d .
Ask Sherwin at excede what figures they would expect to get on both cars if they played with them .:thumbs:
