Hi All. I have a friend who has a 135i n55 motor and is getting a 2E0F code- valvetronic system. Deactivated, adjustment fault too frequent. The car still has throttle however engine light is on and still rough idling. I did read that a dme firmware update and reset of adaptations could help sort out the issue. Is anyone able to assist with this please? Apparently if the valvetronic motor is dead then the car wouldn't have throttle which is not the case here and would like to try a dme firmware update and adaptation reset first. Appreciate the help in advance.

Need to do the valvetronic thing... That's the servo motor.. eccentric shaft from agents is like a 35k +- bill ...common issue on n55 and when they do that they replace the tappit cover gasket too
