My (N54) 135i has just over a year left of motorplan, still on original coil packs & fuel pump. It had an issues the other day - warning light went on and car had a rough idle. At the time the car had Xcede SW
Pulled into a parking lot turned off the car, waiter about a minute before restarting and everything was fine. Car was flashed back to stock and went in for it's 2nd service and I asked them to check the warning light that came up. Initially they picked nothing up, I pushed for them to check again and they ended up replacing the injectors.
My question is I know the N54 X35i's had issues with injectors, HPFP's and a few other parts. Was there a recall in SA? Will I be able to get BMW to replace these parts under motorplan even if currently they are not faulty?
I put very few KM on my car, but would like the peace of mind that should I keep the car when the KM's are higher that the car will not have these issues.
As it stands, car is stock with 40K on the clock.
